Facilities

Carrickmannon Fishery offers a range of facilities and fishing methods to suit everyone!

The Lake which is approximately 25 acres, is regularly stocked with 1 lb plus fish. Fly or bait fishing or spinning are possible from the bank of the lake. Alternatively fly fishing can be done in a boat, hireable at a daily rate.
The Fly Pond is heavily stocked with rainbow trout, weighing up to 10 lb (record catch to date 13.10 lb!) and is strictly fly fishing only.
The Bait Pond is worm only and is regularly stocked with fish between 1.5 to 10 lb.
Harry's Pond is for fly or bait fishing and is stocked with trout of approximately 1 lb.
The Children's Pond is for under sixteen's to fly or bait fish and is very heavily stocked with fish of 1 lb weight.

Additional facilities include:

Automatic Lifejackets, supplied for all boat users (which must be worn),
Expert Fly Casting tuition available (by appointment)
Safe car park, toilet, barbecue and picnic facilities
Bait, tackle and tuck shop

*All children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.*

Season

Carrickmannon Fishery is open all year from 9.00am. Evening fishing is available from 1st April to 30th September. In winter months ponds can usually be kept open as staff can break the ice.

Directions

From Saintfield traffic lights take the Killyleagh/Killinchy road (beside Rowallane Inn). Travel 2 miles to 'Y' Junction and turn left for Killinchy. Carrickmannon Fishery is ½ a mile on the right.

From Ballygowan roundabout take the Killyleagh Road (Carrickmannon Road). After 2 miles turn right into Station Road. Carrickmannon Fishery is ½ a mile on the left.
